Gal Gadot, who famously kissed Chris Pine in Wonder Woman, shared a kiss with comedian Kate McKinnon on Saturday Night Live’s spoof of the superhero film. The sketch featured two lesbian women, played by Kate McKinnon and Aidy Bryant, arriving at Themyscira, an island inhabited solely by gorgeous women.
Over the weekend, Gal Gadot and Kate McKinnon shared a kiss in a Saturday Night Live sketch centered around the superhero film. Despite the teasing implication of a romantic relationship between the two, it was later revealed that neither of them identify as lesbian. Aidy Bryant and Kate then expressed their disappointment over the situation. In an effort to make things better, Gal offered to try kissing one of them to see if she might “feel something.”
The skit started off with Aidy Bryant, age 30, and Kate, both lesbians, arriving at Themyscira Island.
Initially, the women were filled with joy upon reaching the territory solely occupied by females. They smiled contentedly as they set foot on the land.
Kate and Aidy were feeling down as they chatted about their letdown. Aidy admitted that she couldn’t handle the situation emotionally. Kate agreed, reminding Gal that they were not mere test subjects for her to experiment with unless she wanted to try it on herself. Kate hesitantly offered to volunteer but Gal’s kiss left her feeling nothing. It was a huge disappointment for all of them. As a result, Aidy and Kate made the decision to leave the island and move on to their next destination, Lesbos.
Gal attempted to console the women by expressing her desire to empathize with them. She even jokingly suggested kissing one of them as a way to better comprehend their emotions.
After kissing Kate, Gal expressed regret and mentioned that she didn’t experience any emotions during the act.
