Victor Wembanyama and Jeremy Sochan, teammates at Spurs, share a common passion for sports, but unfortunately not for the same soccer team. Victor, who is French, disclosed that he and Jeremy chat about football occasionally, but they don’t see eye to eye on their favorite teams. While Victor is a PSG fan, he chuckled that Jeremy is an Arsenal supporter. He also mentioned that Jeremy was the first person to welcome him to the Spurs even before he was drafted, and they get along well. Jeremy was born to a Polish mother and an American father in Oklahoma but lived most of his childhood in England.
The camaraderie between Victor Wembanyama and Jeremy Sochan as teammates for the Spurs is going strong.
The new basketball player made a joke about his teammate being an Arsenal fan, despite growing up in Milton Keynes and playing college basketball for Baylor in the USA. He must have been pleased with Arsenal’s 3-1 victory over Burnley on Saturday. Wembanyama, who stands at an impressive 7-foot-4, supports PSG, and was seen with Kylian Mbappe at the NBA Draft Lottery earlier this year. Mbappe is apparently a fan of Wembanyama’s too, as he watched his final regular season game with Metropolitans 92. Wembanyama is currently playing for the Spurs and has an average of 19.9 points per game.
